In a fully equipped darkroom at Holborn Studios, you’ll learn to develop film, create contact sheets, and print your images using an enlarger. You’ll experiment with exposure, light, and composition, and watch your photographs come to life in the developing tray. An experience no digital workflow can replace. All materials, paper, and chemicals are provided. You’re also welcome to bring your own exposed black & white negatives (35mm, 120, or 5x4) to process and print during the day. You’ll leave with your own finished prints and the satisfaction of mastering traditional darkroom skills.
